The World Memory Project is a joint project between the United States
Holocaust Memorial Museum and Ancestry.com to allow the public to help make
Museum documents searchable by name online for free. Anyone can contribute
to this project. There are over four million historical documents about the
survivors and victims of the Holocaust and Nazi persecution during World War II.

Recently the Poland Ghetto Transportation Lists 1939-1940 lists were added to
Ancestry: You may search the records at:
https://search.ancestry.com/search/db.aspx?dbid=3D61598&cj
These records are in German.

Also added recently are the Prague, Czechoslovakia, Selected Holocaust Records,
1939-1945. This collection is updated and consists of records generated by German
occupational institutions and Czech auxiliary agencies who dealt with matters of
internal security and racial policy, especially anti-Jewish measures, during World
War II. This includes information on Jewish businesses, jewish property
questionnaires, death statistics documents and deportation of Jews to
Theresienstadt. To search these records see:
https://search.ancestry.com/search/db.aspx?dbid=3D60551&cj

Both of the above databases, as are all World Memory Project databases, on
Ancestry are free to search.. Copies of the images can be ordered at no cost
from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.

Thank you to Lisa Louise Cooke for informing us about the recently added
information.

Because of a technical error, two URLs in Jan Meisels Allen's post
were rendered incorrectly in her post.
