Besides exhausting all search options (all online major databases,
ship manifests, etc), are there any specific steps one should perform
after locating potential relatives in the Warsaw Jews Who Survived
WWII, 1948 archive?

Search the Yad Vashem Pages of Testimony (POTs) for names of those who
submitted POTs of Warsaw people. Many of these could be survivors and those
who submitted and are still alive might have first hand knowledge.
https://yvng.yadvashem.org/
(Use online telephone directories if contact details on POT is likely to be
out of date.)

Avraham,

Contact the Holocaust Survivors and Victims Resource Center at the
United States Holocaust Memorial Museum at resource-***@ushmm.org .
Ask them to check the Registry of Holocaust Survivors for the people
you seek. The Registry is separate from the Holocaust Survivors and
Victims database online.
