Hi all,
A rookie question: How may I find naturalization records using only
the certificate number and a questionable date & place?
The 1941 Petition for Naturalization of Hanna LEVINE (#311271 in the
US District Court of New York, Eastern District) states her husband
Harry was naturalized in Newark, NJ (despite living in Brooklyn) on
April 16, 1924 (despite the same petition saying he came to live in
the US in August 1925) and that his naturalization certificate number
was 2019061.

The certificate itself may not have much, but I hope it will point me
toward the petition for naturalization &/or Declaration of Intent,
which should have more detailed and accurate information.

You'll find the NJ naturalization documents on the FamilySearch website. I
don't believe they have been indexed so you'll have to narrow your target
timeframe and place then browse accordingly. Here's a link:
